This may sound strange, but I don't believe in ghosts, hauntings, curses, etc. None of that stuff has any evidence for me to believe in, but I can walk into a house and know whether or not something bad happened. I can sense when a house is at peace and when it is not. It's this strange ability warning me about things that I don't even believe in. I've used it when helping some family members look at a house to move into, all I need to do is step into the house and some hidden sense tells me to either GTFO, or everything is peachy. 90% of the time everything is fine, but there's been a couple houses that I've walked into and I just couldn't stay in them very long, and I mean no more than 2 minutes.

My great grandma died in my house i think, and my grandpa died in my parents room. My dog barks and whimpers at the hallway connected to my parents room. My dog refuses to go anywhere near there sometimes and others she is just fine. If she is barking at the hallway and i go into the hallway, she whimpers at me until i come back. My mom also smelled coffee one day, and no one in my house drinks it, and it smelled the same way my grandpa made it, according to my mom. So yeah. Grandpa hasn't killed any of us yet so we are fine.

I heard a story that there was this house a few hours from where I live that apparently had a execution chair in the basement (from like the 1800s) and the people that lived there would hear knocking on the walls and noises in the walls. They finally moved out when their 6 year old daughter got attacked by *something* . About a year later a man moved into the house and didn’t know about the chair. According to the story the man got arrested for having exaction equipment in his basement

The house I live at currently is near an old Native American burial ground. The stuff you hear at night outside is creepy. Sometimes I would hear people whistling together and it always comes from different directions or in our house we would always catch glimpse of the same thing. A thin hunched over man with grayish toned skin he looks like if he were to stand the top of his back would touch our ceiling. I remember my fiancé rushed into our room at about 1 am after getting a snack looking pale and then he locked our door grabbed me and grabbed his tomahawk (he’s Native he’s the main reason we found out that we’re living near a burial ground). I was confused with what he was doing and kind of pissed that he woke me up then he told me he saw something in our loft area and said the exact description of something I saw when I was younger living here (we’re at my mom’s place until we save up enough to have a place of our own very thankful for my mother) and I told him right away that my mom, brother and I have been seeing him around here ever since we moved in (we had no other choice but to stay because of how tight money was and how tight it still is). It creeps me out to know that I’m not the only one who’s caught glimpses of him. My fiancé anytime we tell this story swears up and down that he saw him crouching in our loft.

My grandma died in my current house. Also, the previous owner built a sperate garage and a fairly large section to the house, so there are no records of whats there because he was building without permission. The previous owner also lied a lot about the house and had it sit vacant for about 20 years.... my friend is convinced its haunted. I also have a ghost story if anyone is interested

Okay so story: So around three to four years ago I moved into the house I live in now. It was a normal house, we didn’t like it all that much but yk it’s what we could afford that would have room for my whole family. My grandparents came to where I live to check out the house since we just moved in. We were all joking around in the driveway about how it could be haunted and stuff but then all of a sudden this like freaky old lady (no offense to the lady but she looked like she was gonna die if she hadn’t already) on a scooter drove up and was like “You shouldn’t stay hereEee, the people inside don’t welcome yOuUuu” yk in an old lady voice. And so my dad was like “Oh thank you ma’am, but we’ve already bought it.” Yk being all nice cause that’s my dad around other people. And as soon as he said that her face dropped and she was like “Oh no no no *inaudible rambles* you better be careful.” And then rode off and we were like wtf... and basically since moving my sisters have seen heads peaking out of the top of the fireplace, when I’m alone downstairs at night I feel like I’m being looked at or taps on my shoulder when no one is around, the closet door in my sisters room randomly opens and the lights turn themselves off. Also apparently mirrors are bad and there were TONS in the house and one time we broke one and we were like 😳 and we still have some in our garage, we also found lots of pennies under floorboards and stuff and shoved into tiny spaces which my parents told me is linked to something bad or whatever. I’m sure this stuff can probably be explained but it’s still creepy ykk?? Thanks for reading if ya did :)

12:49 fun fact: My best friend told me when he was little he had to go under his house and saw large bones, he got scared and his dad thought he was imagining it. I'd say 2 weeks ago he just remembered the bones and told his family about them as a joke because they were selling the house and after that there was this slight investigation. Long story short, it was actual human bones buried but like a family funeral I think

When I first moved out on my own, a few of my friends and I rented a really old house that was built in like 1905, and was initially a home where nurses would live while they got their training and then it transitioned to a sort of hospice place during the great depression. Nothing was too crazy, but my three housemates were convinced it was haunted. Two claimed to see a little boy, but I can't confirm that because I wasn't there. The only things I witnessed was cupboards swinging open and slamming shut when I was alone in the kitchen, and lights turning on and off on their own, but I'd call that drafts and hundred year old wiring. Was weird how the cupboards would linger for a second before abruptly closing though. Eventually we had a name for the boy that the two girls claimed to see, as now seeing him was something that happened rather frequently for them (Victor, aged 6 upon death) and we would all laugh and reprimand the imaginary boy when unexplainable things happened around the house. It became a sort of inside joke. I still never saw him, so I assume they'd made it up, though they would swear up and down to the contrary. Maybe I just wasn't clairvoyant enough for the boy's taste. Personally, I think my roommates were full of it when they claimed to see an apparition, but hey, a good story's a good story, and it was fun to blame our problems on a nonexistent little boy. If you've read all that, damn, that was some commitment. I hope that anticlimactic story was worth it. Edit: Grammar

Okay okay Jay I have a story about 3 years ago my grandma had dimensia and she had to move in with us and so she could be safe she took my room then I moved into the old dining room then on July 5th she died at 4 am that morning the night before my mom said she will die soon it's only a matter of time then that same day I moved back into my old room and sometimes my lights will flicker and I thought it was the light bulbs so we changed them out then we thought it was the electricity but it wasnt that then sometimes if your quiet enough you can hear tapping and whispering and the window that sound just like my grandma lol
